Your First Day At Our Yuba City Practice

Your First Visit | Chiropractic Education

Welcome to our office. At Advanced Chiropractic your first visit is for a fact finding day. You can expect to be in the office for about an hour on this first visit.

Step One: You will be welcomed in and introduced to our office by our front desk person. She will have you fill out a health history questionnaire and prepare you for the consultation with Dr. Sorensen. After a short video explaining what to expect on the first day you will be introduced to the Doctor.

Step Two: A one-on-one consultation with Dr. Sorensen to discuss your health problems and to determine what may be the cause. Dr. Sorensen will perform a comprehensive examination, surface EMG and evaluation including those tests necessary to determine the precise cause of you problem. Remember: If we do a good job finding the problem, we can do a better job fixing the problem.

Step Three: Your first visit will be complete. You will be scheduled for your next chiropractic visit. During this time Dr. Sorensen will evaluate your examination findings, prepare a treatment guide to provide the best plan to correct your problem.

Your Second Visit | Following Up On The Same Day

Your second visit is the first day of treatment in our office. Dr. Sorensen will explain the cause of your problem and begin your treatment to assist with pain relief, and start the healing process. He will explain how your body functions and the reason that you have been experiencing your symptoms.

Then, before you know it, you'll be able to schedule a regular visit to our office!
